|| DEARDIARY #06 || HIGHLIGHT OF 2020

First post in 2021💕 It's another new year and I think I should take a long deep breath now. A messy and full of ups and downs year of 2020 finally end. However, in just the beginning of the year, our government just announced and implemented another round of MCO 2.0.
I guess 2020 have been a painful year for everyone to remember. It totally twisted the whole thing and planned that I had done before the year starts. Everything on travelling has to be cancelled and I feel really upset as throughout the whole year I couldn't really go travel. 😢 Been stuck at home for months, even though I still work from home during that time, sometimes I still feel empty..
Looking back at what I have done in 2020, I feel like I had really did nothing in the year. Plan to have a trip with my mum and sister to Korea has been cancelled due to the burst out case in March. First trip with my bestie to Bali has to cancelled due to the uncertainty of the situation of Covid-19. Hmm.. I went to Penang to give a surprise birthday celebration to my sister, with this at least I feel like it's not really that bad actually. I at least flew to somewhere outside of KL and had a short trip.
In adapting to this new normal, I have to change a lot of plan in my work. As previously, I could simply go out to have roadshows and sponsorship event for my company, but now, what I can do is switch everything more towards digitalize and on social media. For a fully focus on offline marketing traditional company to more digitalize is hard. As we do not have any social media presence previously.
If there is no MCO or the Covid-19, I would have already planned to leave my current company this year and pursue a better job in Singapore maybe.. If that really happen, I wouldn't met my current superior and could not really have chance to learn something new from her. They way she work and the way she execute plan and planning. And so yeah.. It might be really another for me to stay here and learn whatever I could and try explore new things.
Before the year end, we organize a Christmas party. Although just 5 of us in this party, I really enjoy and it really fun for me. I got a Christmas present that I had wanted for so long - Limited edition of Givenchy Lipstick. Thank you my secret santa - Sooling 😉 Another drunk and crazy night with them.
Last day of 2020, get invited to join a countdown house party very last minutes. Because of this Covid-19 thing, I couldn't manage to go to Johor to countdown and welcome my 2021 with my bf this year. I am happy that I'm not alone to countdown to 2021, but feel sad because the one that I loved no around me.
Now it's already 2021, I'm not to say I'm still very young but I will still keep explore the world and do what I love and like.Continue to pursue my dream, hoping that one day I could live the life that I always wanted. To those who I loved, thanks for another year of stay with me. I appreciate what you all have done and the joy you bring to me, another year, please stay with me and let us creates more unforgettable memories together.
